I have had to go out each day since the snow arrived and although I like driving in ice and snow, the roads away from the main roads are pretty impassable this morning.
The show has turned to ice and the village roads are never gritted, this makes for a fun time and a possible bad one too.
Yesterday I went to pick up an elderly lady and take her to my mums for dinner, the poor dear could barely keep her footing even with my help/
This morning I went up and got a paper, the roads are worse than they were yesterday.
So, what are the roads like in your town/village?

The roads are just as bad in Ashington, and Tonbridge for that matetr! The main roads/high streets are ok, but as soon as you turn off them, there is just a solid sheet of ice across the road! My poor car slipped and slid as I tried to turn a corner and it was all I could do to keep control of the car. Even walking is hazardous. It's almost more difficult fot me to keep myself steadt than the car!

The roads round by me are still ridiculously icy! Though we haven't had any more snow, the ice just doesn't want to leave! I'm not complaining though. I love the snow

Finally, there was a bit of rain today! The ice is thinning and I can see tarmac again! And by the sounds of the weekend weather report, the snow is now going to be leaving us. It's a shame in a way. Everything looks so beautiful covered in snow. But at least we can all get back to normal!

I thought we were gonna have loads of ice again yesterday! I couldn't beleive it when I saw it was snowing! Luckily that rain washed it all away though.
