Hi, I haven't seen any other introduction topics

-  stop by and say hello -

So please tell me something about yourselves. Maybe where you are from, hobbies, interests, school, work? Anything of interest that you may want to share.

My name is Mike and I'm 27 years old. I recently moved to Storrington last spring and I'm interested in finding out more about the area and what it has to offer. For the past 3 years I've been employed as a retail buyer for a high street store but in my personal life I prefer the countryside to the shops and enjoy being part of a local community.

my name is Mike Ryan. I'm 47 and have always lived in and around West Sussex most notably Pulborough and surrounding areas. It's good to see so many people taking in interets in local affairs and nice to have a place to visit that really keeps me infromed on a day to day basis.

Hey guys, what's going on?

I was born in Brighton and moved to Bramber around 15 years ago as I wanted a quiter place for me and the family. The Sussex Downs is certainly one of the nicest parts of the country and I can see myself staying settled here for many years to come. I've found it pefect for the kids as they get involved with the local football team and various other activities and I feel its a much safer enviroment for them to grow up in. So Im interested in anthing that might keep them quite for five minutes and make my life simpler :-)

Cool, a forum dedicated to somewhere I actually live! I never thought I'd see the day…

Hi, I'm traveller by the way because well, I like to visit all kinds of places but woohoo, that's one up for Ashington, lol

Funny things happen to me on my way to the Forum

Hey all, saw a poster for this site at the local village hall in storrington – great way to find out about your local area. What can I say, I'm a computer systems analyst and spend a lot of time testing new computer system so if site admin need any help I'm more than happy to offer my services.

Beyond that I moved to this part of the country many years ago now and you could say I have settled down to the pace of life here.  Not that there isn't lots to do, far from it but I'll take the West Sussex countryside over the urban concrete landcape any day of the week.

Good luck

Hi all!

Wow, it's so nice to see so many people on this site! I'm 22 and live in Ashington. It's a rather sleepy village so I'm glad there's somewhere I can now go to see what's going on in the local area lol!

Hi, I've been away from West Sussex for a while, so it's great to come on here and find local info, news and people to chat with. Great work team! I think this website will be absolutely fantastic when it's properly launched in May. I'm coming back to the area soon, so you'll see me on here quite a lot! Hopefully the youngsters can get chatting too in a safe and well moderated website.      See you soon, from the Fairy Laugh (Just gotta figure out the maths now to post this!)
